#9819: Company Documents - Data Watch - Send alert to all staff on new version approved

We are excited to introduce a new feature that enhances communication across our platform. With this update, an alert will now be sent to all staff members when a new version is approved and becomes the current revision.
Key Features:
  • Location: The alert configuration is conveniently located at the bottom of the document library details page, just before the embedded table.
  • New Fields Added and needed to be enabled in custom label first:
    1. Tickbox: Send alert to All Staff on New Version Added
      • This checkbox allows administrators to choose whether to trigger an alert when a new version is approved.
    2. Subject
      • Enter a brief subject line for the alert message.
    3. Argument
      • Select predefined parameters or categories relevant to the new version.
    4. Message
      • Craft a detailed message that will be included in the alert notification.
How It Works:
When a new revision is approved and set as the current version in the document library, the system will automatically trigger an alert to notify all staff members. This ensures that everyone is promptly informed about important updates, facilitating better collaboration and awareness.
